Three machines,
one for each fixing.

The entire wood-flooring work processing is carried out using pneumatic nailing machines — not part of it, all of it. And not one machine doing everything: the pads, the framework and the boards each get the tool made for them.

Shock Pad Nailer

Fixes the button-type shock pad rubber to the pine.

Interlocked Pine Framework

Framework Coil Nailer

Fixes the interlocked pine framework — every half lap, at every crossing.

  • Coil magazine, air-driven
  • Both directions of the grid fixed the same way

Playing Surface

Flooring Cleat Nailer

Blind-nails the playing surface — African teak, or maple on a squash court — through the tongue.

  • Angled shoe registers on the board's tongue

And then the sanding

Nailed flat, then sanded true.

Fixing the boards is not the last word on how flat a court is. Industrial sanding and finish takes the laid floor to a true plane before anything is sealed over it, and the surface goes under a water-based polyurethane court finish.
